“We’ll always have Paris...”

It’s almost three years since the Vespa Club of Paris extended an invitation for Scootering to attend the club’s annual Vespa Parade. During that time the world’s changed considerably but our determination to join the club for the event hasn’t wavered. Thankfully 2022 was the year that Brad and I finally made it.

Based around Seguin Sound, a restaurant/live music venue/brewery (you read that correctly) on Seguin Island in the Boulogne-Billancourt suburb of Paris, the Vespa Parade has become a key fixture in the French Vespa calendar. From highs of around 500, scooter attendance is now down to around 100 riders, a number mandated by the Mayor of Paris from whom permission for the event must be sought.
