The Legends of the Mid-Autumn Festival

id-Autumn Festival is the second most important Chinese festival of the year (after Chinese New Year). As with many festivals, its traditions and rituals are tied to ancient legends. Legend has it that if you look closely enough at the Moon during the festival, you can see the images of the Jade Rabbit and Chang’é, goddess of the Moon.
