Legendary GT

I was going to title this story Summer of ’69 as that’s when it took place. A better title could be Legendary GT200. Everything in this story is true, however unbelievable it sounds.

We begin in our local watering hole when the topic of holidays came up. Most of us could take the first two weeks in August so we decided on a road trip, but to where? Lots of places were suggested: the Isle of Wight, Torquay and Scotland, then I said: “What about Milan, to the Innocenti plant?” The suggestion was met with universal approval.
