Lambretta Model D

The Lambretta Model D wasn’t the first of the pure open-frame Lambretta models – that accolade going to the model C – but once in production, it became the most successful in terms of numbers sold. It also underwent several changes and comebacks, making it one of the longest-running models in the company’s history. There is no doubt that the Model D firmly put the Lambretta on the map in Italy and the rest of the world, so its importance should never be forgotten.
