Going the distance

Binoculars equipped with a laser rangefinder can be a real asset to rifle shooters who need to know exactly how far away their target is. Although such optics are more of a luxury item for shooters like me, who tend to focus on the control of grey squirrels and rabbits over closer distances, I know foxers and deerstalkers who rely on them as everyday essentials.
