The D-Day Squadron—an educational nonprofit organization set upnarrated by actor and veterans advocate Gary Sinise. The film, available on Blu-ray and DVD at recounts the flight the group organized in 2019, when it took 15 wartime C-47 cargo planes (which ferried paratroopers to Normandy in 1944, as above) to France to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
