DEHYDRATE
This function uses the principles of the air fryer to create fast circulating air but at much lower temperatures, so foods dehydrate over a long cooking time. Ingredients can be placed in the air fryer basket, using either the steamer rack with handles or the perforated tray, and sealed with the air fryer lid. We recommend purchasing a 5-tier dehydrator rack to get the best use of available space.
Spicy dried mango
PREP 5 MINUTES DEHYDRATE 9 HOURS SERVES 6
½ teaspoon chilli powder, or to taste
3 medium limes (195g), rind grated finely
¼ teaspoon fine salt
3 x 685g cans mango slices in juice, drained
1 Combine chilli powder, lime rind and salt in a large bowl.
2 Pat mango slices dry with paper towel, then add to bowl with chilli mix and toss to coat.
Arrange mango slices in a single layer
