What has been behind Sheffield United’s improvement this season?

I think we started that process last season, which gave us confidence for this campaign. We had a big upswing in points and performances. We didn’t quite get to where we wanted to be, by losing in the play-offs, but it didn’t sour things. Being realistic, from where we were [16th when Heckingbottom took the reins in late November 2021] to where we eventually got to, it was almost an unbelievable campaign. We continued where we left off rather than starting anything new.
