Q It’s so difficult these days as parents to know how to handle teenagers. On the one hand you don’t want to be too restrictive and authoritarian, but on the other hand you do want to safeguard them and teach them good values.
Our son wants to sleep over at his girlfriend’s house some weekends and we understand his point of view as his girlfriend lives in Johannesburg and we’re in Pretoria. They’re both in Grade 11.
