Like everything else in life, we turn to the Internet for information about hiking trails. But some routes aren't available online and sometimes the websites aren't very user-friendly. That's what makes this guide so valuable: It's the most comprehensive collection of local hiking trails you can find. There are more than 500 day, weekend and multi-day hikes to choose from, including 60 new trails.

This is the fifth edition of the guide and the structure has remained largely unchanged, except for the index at the back, which has been removed. This is a pity because now you have to know which region a trail is in to find it. Previously you just had to run your finger down an alphabetical list. Aside from this one niggle, the guide works very well.
