FROM TIME TO TIME, official interrogation demands that I declare my highest level of tertiary education and/or higher education. They want to know if I’m sufficiently qualified to apply for innovative solutions to entrenched social issues. Perhaps they’ve noticed that I’m in line for Australia’s Disability Strategy. Or that I need to apply for the Pensioner Energy Supplement. Boy, we all need that.
