The bathroom is one of the most used rooms in the house, with the family in and out all day – from quick showers in the morning to baths before bedtime. So it needs to be multipurpose, efficient and economical – all without compromising on style. When designing your family bathroom, there are a few things you should consider. Firstly, what is the best use of your space? Do you have enough room for both a shower and a bath? Can you integrate some built-in storage to utilise any dead space? How do you want the walls, floors and windows to look? Write a list, starting with the functional aspects first.
