April painting challenge

Painting an interior scene was the theme of our April challenge, and we are featuring two paintings here that reflect very different interior spaces. Phil Judd's interior shows a sensitive handling of watercolour to create a lovely glimpse inside his front room, while Michael Berry's watercolour of the resting place of our late Queen Elizabeth captures the soaring space of the interior of St. George's Chapel in Windsor with its colourful array of banners.

June challenge

If you would like to see your work published here, why not take part in next month's challenge, when we invite you to paint on the theme of ‘Reflections'? This could be taken literally to show reflections in water, or in a mirror, or the by 16 May, titled June Challenge for your chance to feature in a forthcoming issue.
