EV now, hydrogen soon?

In the UK, studies show fuelling an EV is now more expensive than fuelling a petrol or diesel vehicle.

In the US, the value of pre-owned Tesla EVs is falling.

Here in New Zealand, taxpayers are subsidising the Government’s semigenerous subsidy to get people into EVs.

The only semi-off-road EVs or hybrids available here are SUVs, and many of them are very, very urban.

Still keen on alternative fuels? An EV may not be the best bet in the medium to long term. Off-roading on alternative fuels? Hydrogen may be the fuel of choice.
