Kate marched into the police station. ‘I’ve killed my husband,’ she said. The young officer snapped to attention.

An older sergeant stood up. ‘Now, Kate, what have we told you?’ he warned.
‘I killed him,’ she insisted.
‘How?’ asked Sgt Blake.
‘I poisoned him.’
‘With what?’
‘Weed killer.’
