LIGHT is a type of energy radiating from a light source, such as a light bulb.
A fundamental property of light is that it behaves just like a wave and therefore has a frequency and wavelength. Frequency is how fast the wave vibrates (moves up and down), while wavelength is the distance between the peaks of the wave.
Light, sound and water waves are all similar in the sense that they transport energy from one location to another.
