EXTENDED LIVING SPACE
Abbie and Matthew Cureton bought their north-London townhouse in 2006, but with two growing teenagers, a lack of downstairs living space was beginning to tell. ‘The cost of moving was too high,’ recalls Abbie. ‘So just before lockdown we decided to go ahead with a side-return extension, asking architects A2Studio to draw up plans for a kitchen-diner and downstairs cloakroom.’
