Translating Health into Wealth
Only a healthy state can spur economic growth in a country that can be achieved through dynamic initiatives aimed at a long-term vision, a fact that this mineral rich state is well aware of. Chhattisgarh ranks amongst the top states in the country in terms of strengthening healthcare services and development of health infrastructure rapidly for making healthcare affordable and accessible for all. This transformation is happening due to the relentless efforts of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, to ensure and facilitate effective healthcare and prompt treatment for those who are particularly in the low-income groups, women and children. As Chhattisgarh’s health facilities were already people-oriented, it helped in the battle against the Covid pandemic posing unprecedented challenges to emerge out of the crisis with minimum damage.
In pursuance to provide free healthcare facilities to the masses, a slew of initiatives along with Ayushman Yojana, the Mukhyamantri Swasthya beema Yojana, Sanjeevani Sahayata Kosh, Mukhyamantri Bal Hriday Suraksha Yojana, Mukhyamantri Bal Shravan Yojana and Chirayu Yojana are being actively operated. All the above schemes are covered by the Dr. Khubchand Baghel Health Scheme, Ayushman Yojana and Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana and its effective implementation
