I’ll never forget the 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme coupe I drove from St. Louis to Du Quoin, Illinois, mainly because in many ways it was staggeringly forgettable. Without the kitschy cladding added for the 1992 model year, the GM10-based W-body two-door didn’t look bad, with nice surfaces, decent proportions, and a rear window that seemed to wrap around invisible C-pillars. But the rest of it? Awful.
