2023 EUROPEAN GRAND PRIX

The international outdoor season officially started on 1 April. Perhaps not the most auspicious date, but the event that kicked it off, from 3-8 April, was exceptionally well organised and produced some elite level performances.

Despite some downpours during the week, the finals day stayed dry and the venue looked spectacular. For the first time, the competition had a full live TV production, broadcasting on World Archery’s network. Two world number ones, Kathi Bauer (recurve women) and Britain’s Ella Gibson (compound women) were also in attendance.

There were also 32 quota places for the European Games in Kraków
