Arare, Ansbach faience octagonal tray, c1730–40, was one of the star performers at Roseberys' Fine & Decorative sale. The beautiful and large piece, 55cm wide, was decorated with birds and flowering shrubs in the Japanese Kakiemon style and also featured two coats of arms.
