THE TIME I GOT LOST in Canada’s Wonderland

The sun was shining intensely and the heat was almost unbearable. Light shone in every corner, making sure that each spot was shining as bright as possible. The air was filled with all sorts of smells coming from different places - funnel cakes, hotdogs, and pizza from the busy and overcrowded shops. Salty pool water and wet towels from the water park. It was easy to lose anybody in the crowd in the blink of an eye, so it was important for my parents to keep an eye on my brother and I. Their movements were swift and nimble, while our movements were slow and leisurely. Behind our parents, we dragged our feet slowly, struggling to keep up and not drop dead from the heat.
