Eco moorings trial

Ports of Jersey is trialling two different types of eco moorings, designed to tolerate Jersey’s extreme 12m tidal range while also protecting the seagrass in St Catherine’s Bay. Other environmentally sensitive moorings which are commercially available are not designed to cope with such an extreme rise and fall in tide.
