HERITAGE SECTOR CELEBRATES KING’S CORONATION

HERITAGE railways big and small celebrated the crowning of King Charles III with special events over the coronation bank holiday weekend.

The Talyllyn Railway – taken over by volunteers in 1951 and accordingly the only preserved railway that was part of the coronations of the last two monarchs – laid on two special trains on Saturday, May 6, the day of the coronation of King Charles.
