Plans are amping up for Peugeot's first passenger electric vehicle, with today marking the start of pre-orders on the highly anticipated e-2008 Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).
Bringing more choice to the fast-growing small SUV segment, the e-2008 is set to enhance the allure of the 2008 nameplate by offering customers a fully electric powertrain alongside the well-regarded internal combustion local range.
Priced at $59,990, the e-2008 is set to land in the third quarter of this year.
Equipped with a 50 kWh battery, a 100 kW electric motor and 260 Nm of torque, the e-2008 provides a range of 328km.
