First impressions

MTV FOUR-WHEEL box wagons are a very useful addition to the Revolution Trains range for the Railfreight era dating from the mid-1970s through to the first five-years of Privatisation.

The real wagons found use on a variety of traffics, including their primary intended use on sand traffic. The heavy welded box body made it suitable for aggregate traffic where they were used on flows from the Mendip quarries alongside marine armour stone and scrap metal traffic too.
