The second round of the New Zealand Rally Championship (NZRC) headed to the gravel roads north of Whangārei for Saturday’s eight stages, while the six stages on Sunday took place on south of the city centre.
Would it be repeat of round one in April on the Otago roads, where Hayden Paddon won the event by blitzing all of the stages on his way to winning the Otago Rally a record 10th time? Even so, he’d had to share the limelight there
