TURKU-STOCKHOLM’S LATEST CRUISE FERRY

The ships on the Turku-Åland-Stockholm route have a tight timetable, while the passage can also be challenging, with three archipelagos to negotiate. Silja Line and Viking Line operate four ships on the busy route, and their vessels have a turnaround time of just 60-70 minutes at the main ports, during which passengers and vehicles disembark and the next load embarks, and they spend just 15 minutes in Åland. Two crossings a day throughout the year are maintained.

Viking Line have been operating their latest ship, in tandem with since 1 March 2022, when the former was introduced, having been built in China. Viking Grace, constructed at STX Europe Turku Shipyard, was delivered on 10 January 2013,
