As a cabinet maker, I’m often approached by amp companies to produce their shells. Some just want a specific look, which often greatly narrows the scope for build or construction methods. Now, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially if the cabinet design is integral to how the amp sounds (as with the case of Fender’s Tweed amps, which we’ll look at later on).
