WHOLE NEW WHIRL
Singaporean artist Sarah Choo Jing’s latest exhibition “Dancing Without Touching”, offers an alternative discourse on performative movement and dance from the entertainment “worlds”, the amusement parks of yesteryear. Plucked from these “worlds” and put into contemporary settings constructed by the artist, the video installation challenges the traditional, preconceived notions.
