Barrett-Jackson surpassed $190.6 million in total auction sales at its 2023 Scottsdale auction, led by a 1989 Ferrari F40 (Lot #1405.1), $2.75 million; a magnificent 1947 Talbot Lago was Best in Show at the Arizona Concours; Bonhams: The Scottsdale Auction sold the Eleonora Sears 1912 Simplex at $4.8 million, doubling expectations, making a world record for pre-WW 1 cars and becoming the top lot for the Scottsdale auctions; the leading car at RM was a 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari, $4,075,000; and at MAG Auctions, a third Ferrari, a 1999 Maranello (Lot #411T), led the event, bringing $205,000.
Barrett Jackson, the World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, sold 1,907 No Reserve collectible vehicles with a 100-percent sell-through rate, an average sale per car price of $96,000-plus. During the weeklong lifestyle event, a 2002 Honda S2000 was named Best of Show at the Future Collector Car Show; more than 1,100 pieces of authentic automobilia sold for $6.41-plus million, exceeding total auction sales of $190.6 million. A record number of bidders and
