Mid-winter

The shortest day has passed and evening skies are already starting to lighten. Before we know it, spring will be upon us.

In this issue the Rock and I celebrate a 28-year anniversary. We decided to fly to Queenstown for a week’s adventure that included racing around Highlands Motorsport to take in the playful dolphins and the waterfalls cascading down incredibly steep cliff faces, and finishing with another bucket-list trip in a jet boat down the Kawarau River. A great trip in gorgeous autumnal weather – thankfully the snow and cold didn’t hit the region until the day after we left.
