Streamline the entry and exit to your bathroom by installing a stylish yet rustic space-saving sliding door.

Gather your supplies

• Internal barn door 2150 x 1000 x 35mm

• Water-based enamel paint

• Barn door hardware kit with instructions

• Anti-jump blocks

• Tasmanian oak DAR: 42 x 19mm x 2.4m 110 x 19mm x 2.4m

• Oil-based stain blocker/primer

• Oil-based varnish

You’ll also need

Nap roller and tray; tape measure; drill and selection of bits; PVA exterior glue; level; ear protection; masonry drill and 7mm masonry bit/screw and wall plug; circular/tenon saw; paintbrush; rags

For you to note

• Before installing, make sure there is wall space to slide door fully open and closed.

• A mounting rail pushes the door away from the wall to run smoothly on its track.
