From Cher to Tina Turner, Sir Elton John to Rihanna, Marilyn Monroe to Liza Minnelli and Maria Callas to Grace Jones, a new exhibition at London’s V&A Museum celebrates the flamboyance, creativity and sheer fabulousness of some of the world’s greatest divas.
Bringing together more than 250 costumes, personal items, photographs, song lyrics, film clips and designs, Diva traces the journey of opera singers and screen sirens, torch singers and global megastars from the 19th century to the modern day, with plenty of sequins and feathers thrown in for good measure.
