Space to combat climate change?

The Space for Planet Earth Challenge invites high school or university start-ups from New Zealand, Australia, the Philippines, and the Pacific Islands to submit ideas to combat climate change using satellite data, in combination with other data sources, to identify areas of methane emissions.

Applications close 31 August 2023. Qualifying teams will then participate in a three-month incubator programme about remote sensing and data analysis, design thinking, and prototyping. Shortlisted teams after the incubator will pitch their ideas in Auckland in March
