The Coins, the Medals, the Artist: Jim Licaretz

Collectors are often quite knowledgeable about the details of coins we collect, including knowing the names of the men and women who designed them. But we don’t often get a chance to talk with those artists and get to know what makes them tick. Recently, though, we were able to interview Jim Licaretz, a highly accomplished artist who has retired from the United States Mint, and who is still very active in creating artworks today.
