Open that oyster

Once you're at your stand and have engaged the brakes, you're ready to set up. The Exclusive doesn't have corner steadies as part of the load rests on the floor when it's open.

The entire lid of the Exclusive swings 180º open like an oyster shell until it is parallel with the ground. Before you open the lid, you just need to let go with the pulley located at the coupler point.

The strap of the pulley is hooked to the trailer's floor. Incidentally, this type of pulley is also seen on some boat trailers. The actual use of the pulley is to lift the floor when you're done camping.

Once you've unclipped the lid, you're ready to lift it, but first, swing the spare wheel at the back out of the way. It swings to a right along
