PATTERN NOTES

Rib pattern consists of 2 RS rows and 2 WS rows.

When instructions state to repeat inc row every 8th row, this includes all rows. For example, after working inc row, work next RS row, then next 2 WS rows, then next 2 RS rows, then next 2 WS rows - 7 rows. Work inc on next (8th) row (row 1 of rib patt). This also applies to every 12th row.

STITCH PATTERNS

SLIP STITCH RIB PATTERN

(multiple of 2 sts + 1)

Row 1 (RS): Using yarn A, knit.

Slide sts back to beg of needle to work next row from RS.

Row 1 (RS): Using yarn B, P1, *Sl 1 wyib, P1; rep from * to end. Turn.

Row 2 (WS): Using yarn A, purl.

Slide sts back to beg of needle to work next row from WS.

Row 2 (WS): Using yarn B, K1, *Sl 1 wyif, K1;
