A geological wonderland
ellowstone National Park, situated in northwestern Wyoming and partly in southern Montana and eastern Idaho, is a sprawling mix of colourful geothermal features and magnificent wildlife. The park is the oldest national park in the US and has more than 10 000. It’s home to one of America’s national animals, the bison, two of its biggest bear species, wolves, moose and other fascinating fauna and flora.
