Decline in rhino poaching welcomed, but fight goes on

pro-trade policies slammed

Strategies aimed at breaking the illicit value chain of wildlife trafficking in the country and beyond its borders have seen success. However, the fight to protect rhinos from being poached continues.

Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment Barbara Creecy this week provided an update on rhino poaching and initiatives to reduce these acts of criminality.
