Yewbarrow House in Grangeover-Sands, Cumbria is situated on the ancient and rugged slopes of Hampsfell. From here there are panoramic views out across Morecambe Bay, arguably among the finest in northern England.

Dating back to 1875, the house was originally part of the Yewbarrow Lodge estate, which was bombed by German pilots when they targeted the west coast of England during World War II. Jonathan Denby and his wife, Margaret, are the current owners of Yewbarrow House having bought the property in 1999.
