Mid Ride TOURING & ADVENTURE
In the high and far off times before Brexit, popping over to France was easy-peasy and something I greatly enjoyed as a summer day trip. Now it is harder and slower, but I think still doable if you pick your time slot carefully. I live in West Norfolk, 180 miles from the Chunnel terminal, but most of what I suggest could probably be enjoyed in a day by anyone within a 200-mile radius. If you live further afield an overnight or weekend break may be necessary, but there’s still an awful lot to explore without straying far from Calais.
