“At every stage of the show we find new ideas for Easter eggs,” director Barry J Kelly tells . “The script plants the’ keeps it open to ideas. Storyboard artists come up with the staging, where they might pitch some ideas. Then we enter the design phase where our designers get inspired and pitch details on the characters, props and backgrounds. Even in the animation and editing phase, we find spots to add fun stuff – if we need a rewrite on a line, we might add a funny reference late in the game.
