Gan Chon Coon, the owner of the orchard, said. He pointed out that Su Eng Orchard was named after the last name of his father, JP Gan Hock Su, and his mother, Chan Ah Looi. Although they have passed away, Gan Chon Coon and his brothers will never forget their parents’ good deeds.
Since they still missed their parents deeply, they decided to upgrade this piece of land in Bera, Pahang and transformed it into a tropical paradise. In addition to planting fruits such as coconuts and durians, there are bird houses in the orchard to attract swiftlet birds. This resulted in a lovely environment which includes birds chirping and colourful, fragrant flowers blooming beautifully. In the pipeline, Gan Chon Coon also plans to build villas to make the orchard a well-known leisure farm so that future generations would remember their ancestors while visiting resting in Su Eng Orchard.
