TELL ME, THEN HOW DOES YOUR DEER DIE?

n some cases I’m afraid we lay ourselves out as broadside targets for critics by jumping to defiance rather than discourse in our rebuttals. The door stays open, then, for sustained intimidation levied from bullies who feel darned good about levying it. Act two for them is to turn around and call us the bullies. It’s absurd, but it’s working fabulously for them. Frankly, it always has. Personally, I spent my early hunting years beating my head against a nowhere wall whenever contending trite indictments. I impulsively retaliated defensively in what wound up as nothing more than emotional fist fights where each side wound up bloody without anything resolved. What’s the use?
