KUDU TROUBLE

MY 2023 hunting season began with a visit to a beautiful 9 000 hectare farm just outside Musina, between the R572 and the Limpopo River. The farm lies between a nature reserve and national park. This beautiful area is mostly covered by mopani which, surprisingly, for mid-May, was still covered in lush green foliage due to this year’s late rains. The many baobabs in this region really catch the eye. As the Afrikaans saying goes, hulle staan soos hare op ’n hond se rug!
