Nature’s larder

The hedgerows are burgeoning with berries, providing wildlife with a well-stocked larder to feast upon before food becomes scarce over winter. While many of these fruits are either poisonous or inedible to us humans, there are several that can be safely foraged in small quantities; just be mindful that wildlife depends upon this bountiful season for its very survival.
