Grabbing the dog lead and heading out on yet another walk, staying fit and active was a part of our usual routine.
My partner Hana, 32, loved the great outdoors.
Childhood sweethearts, meeting one another on Bebo back in 2010, it didn’t take us long to realise that we actually only lived 10 minutes down the road from one another.
After meeting for a drink in town and realising that it was very much love at first sight, we put a label on our relationship.
And with Hana staying at mine more than she did her own place, she officially moved in months later before falling pregnant the following year with Bella, now 11.
Going on dog walks together, as well as making it a tradition to visit Lanzarote as often as we could, Hana was always fit and healthy – something I had known since the get-go.
