Baking time 25 minutes
You need
• big pat of butter
• 1 loaf of white bread
• about ½ cup crunchy peanut butter
• 6 eggs
• 1½ cups full-cream milk
• 1 tin condensed milk
• ½ teaspoon cinnamon
Here's how
1 Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a shallow oven dish with butter. Make peanut butter sandwiches using the entire loaf. Cut off the crusts and cut each sandwich into three fingers. Put the bread fingers in the oven dish with the sliced sides facing up – they should fit snugly.
2 Beat the eggs, milk, ½ cup condensed milk and cinnamon together to make a custard. Pour half of the custard over the bread. Set aside for 15 minutes. Turn the bread fingers over one by one and pour over the rest of the custard. Set aside while you wait for the oven to heat up.
Bake for about 25 minutes or until the custard is
