You were born in Rimini, Italy, which you’ve described as “a town of painters”. How did growing up there influence your love of art?
It’s very active in a cultural way. We have a lot of festivals and street art, and lots of local artists and shows. I’ve been exposed to art since I was very young. And not only big names or big exhibitions, but lots of experimental art and things like the festival of flowers, the festival of beer. You start looking at things from a different perspective, because anything
